Obverse: five punch marks  consisting of a lotus in the center, Nagari legend "(Bhilla)madeva" with a sword on top, two punches of “Shri” in Kannada on the sides, a conch-shell (Shankha) below, the four punches on the margin are overstruck either fully or partially on four punches containing the dotted lion symbol of the Chalukyan type
